So many i speak inworld today have gone back to 1.23.5. And then finally 2.7.4 dropped my fps to 5-7 and there was no way to get it normal again. 2.7.2 that finally worked for me but it had a beta search. With 2.4 i had micro freezes ever other 5 seconds or so which was utter and utter annoying. The logic at San Fransisco, Battery street ?! Me too rolling my eyes.
If you continue to show contempt for everything and everyone around you, then you are less likely to get the help you need. I believe most of the problems you appear to be having are ones you can take responsibility for. List your issues please, one by one, calmly, and don't be dismissive of the advice you will be offered. (They used to have to take the grid down for several hours every Wednesday afternoon back in 2008 - things have improved a lot since then.)Īnyway, penny lecture over, let's get back to your issues which would seem to be life-threatening for you, as they are raising your blood pressure to a dangerous level (and nothing is ever worth that, especially a virtual reality world!). The Linden people are constantly having to modify a running program, with minimal disruption. However, for the majority of Second Life residents things run relatively smoothly, and I for one appreciate enormously how much work goes on behind the scenes.

I use it exclusively now since I got tired of trying to keep caches separated (that, in my mind should not be a problem, but since the TPV developers don't take the time with their coding to put their caches in a location other than where LL put their cache location I just decided I had to make a choice.V-2 won).
Viewer 2 is actually a pretty good viewer.
It's part of helping to keep the sims running so others can enjoy them. In fact, I've initiated quite a few in my SL lifetime. Rolling restarts are done on a scheduled basis.and those schedules are posted (you might want to keep up on those if you are so into the "game"). No, I really haven't seen much a problem.

Rolling restarts are done to introduce new code for the platform.that old adage "if you are standing still, you are going backward" is very much in play with any virtual world (you'll just have to get used to it as long as LL continues to move forward.and, for now, that seems to be the case for the foreseeable future). It's a virtual world under construction.since 2002.
